LG Korea presented the XCanvas Quidam a 42 inch full HD LCD-TV at the SEK 2007 expo. Featuring a classy ring shaped stand the classy TV takes on Samsung Bordeux range of high end LCD TV's. Pitching it as a luxury product LG has released a slogan for it 'complete harmony of art and technology'. Offering a full HD resolution at 1920 x 1080 it has 5ms response time, contrast ratio of 10000:1 it also includes USB port so you can directly plug in your digicam. The stand will be available in a choice of three colors red, silver and black to match your interiors.

Sanyo PLC-XF47 and PLC-XP100L the world's brightest projectors
The new 15,000 lumen PLC-XF47 projector from Sanyo stakes claim to the "world's highest light output" title. And the 6500 lumen PLC-XP100L vies for the "brightest portable LCD projector" claim. Both of them feature 2000:1 contrast ratios and plenty of input slots as well. The PLC-XF47 focuses on specs like wireless HD streaming, 720p and 1080i video up to 100 feet away with less than a millisecond of latency and 1024 x 768 resolution. The PCL-XP100L has similar resolution but is a third of the cost of XF47. Expanding further, Sanyo also lines up the PDG-DXT10L which features 5200 lumens and a 2100:1 contrast ratio

Boeing A160T Hummingbird Robotic helicopter
The robotic helicopter made by Boeing has just been tested and the slick flying machine was unmanned and airborne for 12 minutes. The "helibot" will have the ability to fly at 140 knots as high as 30,000 feet for up to 20 hours. A good armor against terrorist who seem to have no value for life or property.

Sony Ericsson M600i gets specs
Sketchy details of the erstwhile "Lizy"(FCC approved) have emerged. Sony Ericsson's M610i new codename is "Elena" and is supposedly has Bluetooth, WiFi, UMTS Broadband, standard Triband GSM services, 3.2-MP camera, 2.6"-QVGA screen and 160MB memory. That's quite a bit in the name of rumors, we will keep you posted on fresh details when the come out.

Samsung SGH-E950 unveiled at the annual CommunicAsia 2007
The Samsung SGH-E950 shone in the light at the CommunicAsia cell phone extravaganza. After the fleet that Sony Ericsson is coming out with, it's good to lay hands on a worthy rival. The slick slider is a Triband phone that supports GSM 900, GSM 1800, and GSM 1900. The connectivity options include EDGE, GPRS, WAP, Bluetooth, and A2DP. It sports a 2" color LCD with 18 bit primary display color display and has 70MB internal memory with TransFlash / microSD expansion slots. The 3.2 megapixel camera phone has a metal finish and a touch-sensitive OLED display.

The Sony VAIO RM1N HD Workstation is a professional system that incorporates latest technology and a revolutionary split design. Viewsonic launches three new mid-sized HDTVs
Bringing you the best seats in the house are the three new HDTVs from Viewsonic. Out in 26", 32", and 37" all of them feature 720p, 500-nit brightness and 8ms response time. The contrast ratio of the 26" set is 800:1 and the 32" and 37" sets have 1,200:1 ratio. All three include HDMI, S-video and RCA inputs but the 37-inch model also adds DVI allowing you to connect it to your computer. The smaller two sets use analog VGA for older PCs. Both analog and HD tuning is available on the three sets.

iRiver Life Unit, a sneak peek
The iRiver "Life Unit" details are sparse but from what we can make out it is set to include DVD, TV, PMP capabilities, WAN/LAN connectivity, slot loading CD/DVD inside an auto-sliding door and a SD slot. It will also double-up as an access point/charging station for other iRiver players. It features a 78-key QWERTY base unit controller that also controls the portable unit. The Life Unit is made in collaboration with high end audio manufacturer Nakamichi.
